Following last night's debacle which was more to do with Grayson's poor signings rather than the result then this may finally be the moment when he has reached the crossroads in his LEEDS UNITED career.
The bad signings far outweigh the good yet, when did Grayson last come out and tell the fans that he has made a mistake and dropped a clanger in relation to the signing of a player(s)? Yes, the very same players who consistently make mistakes and fail to perform and ultimately fail to make the matchday squad.Players who are tied to handsome contracts which drains our club of money we can ill afford to squander and invariably costs us valuable points.
I believe in credit where credit is due and am all for supporting the club, it's players and the staff. However, i refuse to be a Grayson apologist the ilk of which has been festering for far too long and drags our club down.
Kenny boy is the ultimate villain of which I am sure most will agree although, Grayson has for far too long bumbled from one lame excuse to another. He fails to self analyse and appreciate or admit to his mistakes.
The worm is turning and of that there is no doubt and even before last night's horror show.Rachubka should not shoulder all of the blame. I lay most of the blame with the very same manager who has subjected the Elland Road faithful to players such as Brown, O'Brien, Capaldi, Bessone,Dickinson, Paynter and perhaps the second worst of all Collins which was even more shameful when you consider that he tried before he'd buyed and clearly failed to appreciate the fact that most rational people could see in that Collins was carp.
TSB only posted a few weeks back an interview with Kenny boy in which the bearded one gave the clearest indication yet that he is losing faith in the players that Grayson has signed and the sheer numbers which have not worked.
Now he wants a replacement keeper on loan...............at least in that respect, Grayson is consistent because if his signings flop then he'll just sign another and another until he gets lucky and finds one that works.
The defence has never been right in 3 seasons and the recent upturn in our defensive fortunes (prior to the Rachubka show) was more down to luck than tactical nous.Yes, Aidy White and Tom Lees have been available from within for some time and if used in their correct positions can do a good job as they have both proven to some effect.
Why couldn't Grayson see that any sooner?
Grayson is at a CROSSROADS

Don't forget, hindsight is a beautiful thing.
Who would you like to replace Grayson?

General - I prefer the benefits of foresight as opposed to indulging in hindsight because the former is much more beneficial and completely eradicates any indulgence in the latter.
As for the next manager let's suggest something completely different and go for a combo of Phil Taylor & Jenson Button.
Would that appeal to you or are you still so taken with Grayson?

BennyLovesMissDiane, I'm not 'taken' with Grayson, just wondering who you'd rather have in the hot seat?

Ideally it would be MON but, that is wishful thinking and completely irrational in our current situation.
Realistically from what is available then I believe Billy Davies could do a good job but would that work with Kenny boy given that Billy is of the non-compliant variety and very much his own man?
Dave Jones is another - knows the division and has loads of experience,He is also a very good manager as his records confirms.
A Paul Lambert type - knowledgeable, thorough and organised with guile and wisdom.
There are plenty of managers out there if and when Kenny boy calls time on Grayson.
I have felt for some time that he has taken us as far as he can and that we would benefit from a change.
It's just an opinion.

MON would be a great fit, a passionate manager at a club with passionate fans. Leeds are still a big club so I wouldn't rule it out altogether.
Billy would fall out with your hierarchy and publicly slate them withinin months.
Dave Jones I personally don't rate but his record isn't too shabby.
Paul Lambert type, good luck.
If you've felt that Grayson is holding you back, and you have for some time, then apologies for the 'hindsight' comment.

General - no need to apologise - us LEEDS fans are just feeling a little bit wounded at the moment !!!
