To wear a poppy during the England V Spain match.
Only because Fifa won't make any money.
The right thing would have been to allow this. But Fifa stopped doing the right thing along time ago. It really must be time to breakaway from Fifa. Surely.
England and Wales should just wear them anyway.

Soldiers are now political too. I see....
Think we should maybe leave it there.

In WW2most soldiers from Britain were conscripts not volunteers, and after the war national service was not optional so wars are fought for ideological reasons and wearing a poppy is showing respect for those who gave their today so we could have a tomorrow.
Just trying to show respect we owe them that at least.

But surely remembering those who died for the freedom of Europe and possibly the world, when a lot of FIFA members may not be around as they(if they were alive then) or their parents might have been killed is disrespectful certainly to the memories of those who died in the World Wars protecting their future.

But poppies do not promote war or are against war. They are the symbol of remembrance for those that have died.
And are not officially a political symbol so cannot be banned on the fact that they are a political symbol.
