Sorry if this has been done many times before but I Can't see the Welsh FA's problem.
I assume many Welsh people are not bothered and would like to see Welsh players in the GB Olympic team.
The WFA suggest it will destroy their identity. If so then how come we have a GB Rugby team, a European Golf team and how many Welsh have won medals for GB in the Olympics.....should they not be part of GB ??
Also don't we have a GB Tennis team ?
so whats their argument ?
Its not as if we are going to all merge for the Euro's or World Cup tournaments.......
Its silly really. They are without doubt the 2 best Welsh players since Giggs and can walk into any team if they want.
I for one am looking forward to what the GB team will look like....

Also FIFA's stance over wearing a poppy is stupid....How is it political....even the Germans wear them.......FIFA are as bad as the PC people who say we can't do certain things like celebrate Christmas as it offends the minority who have other faiths....
Being from London I know Muslims, Hindu's and Jews....none are upset with Christmas, all I know (and there are many) celebrate it.
World is going Barmy....and I don't mean the Newcastle fans are taking over......

One would think that having Wrexham, Cardiff, Newport and Swansea in the English football leagues would do as much, if not more, harm to the Welsh football identity

I have nothing against the poppy myself, but it is certainly political. Maybe not for a lot of the people who wear it, but the source is political.

I totally agree,i think over the past 20 years,maybe a GB would have won the Olympics.If England had over the past 20 yrs the likes of Giggs andother good players for the British Isles,there would have won the world cup,but they lacked just a few key players that Wales,Scotland and Ireland had.
