More bombs then WW11 at Wembley

After watching England in this 4 nations there is 2 things that stand out to me.

(1) The have got the confidence now to go on and win this final, where in the past I think they were a bit hesitant to try anything out of the norm...

(2) I personally think they used the bomb on to many attacking plays, as it turned out successful they continued to do it.
This could come back and bite them because to win these big games you have to have some options when you get inside the oppositions quarter instead of simply putting the boot to ball and more of the ball going out wide to the wings where Hall has shown it can be done.

On there day both Boyd (if injured) Uate can handle the high balls pretty good....maybe not to the standard of Slater but who is..if these bombs fail to often it only means England will be on the back foot again.

Anyway cheers and good luck but not to much....Aussies by 7

Look at that.....I didn't use the word poms/pommie even once, my pommie mates cracking me in the ribs must be sinking in....

Bombs from the Pom's nice tactic, especially if mixed up with a few grubbers, the odd power play or chip over the top.

Still think that attacking wise you have the edge and we have to man up a lot more in defence to take it....just maybe I can dream..............of green and gold tears.

Souths I agree with you, in a lot of cases the kick along the floor can be far more productive.
and more one must stay focussed until after the match.
