Lifetime long Manchester City fan Schmeichel 'The Great Dane' finally passed away last night in what could only be described as very emotional scenes for all involved.
Schmeichel was a great embassador for the Blue side of the city who fell in love with the 'heroes of 99', he will be best known for his famous roles in the episodes 'Hawaian night in' and getting hit by the Weatherfield Flyer.
News of his death will for sure rock the city of Manchester as a whole. Maybe its time to put local rivalries on hold to support each other through this difficult time.
Lets all unite together! Red and Blues lets celebrate and honour the life of our great friend, who brought may good times to your great city.
