Early this evening I posted an article supposed to be on the League site regarding Sam Tomkins being invited to play in the Barbariens v Australia Rugby Union match next weekend.

This article was posted on the Union site,which was'nt a problem but if anyone wants to see it they will have to go over there. No way am I posting it again.

Yes, it's happened on a couple of occasions....Sonny-Bill Williams and big Del Wendall Sailor...

Just on Sonny-Bill-Williams.....I honestly can't see how a man can play the sport just for the money. He has already admitted he isn't enjoying himself, but he could make a fortune in a game he loves and enjoy it in the mean time....either way he is going to be set for life.
I just can't understand that's all.

Sailor wasn't and Williams was in the thick of a blow-out with the Bulldogs I think..so NO you couldn't say they were playing NRL at the time....

Can't really see what all the fuss is about. If Sam wants to play rugby union for a day let it be as I will be interested on how he goes on. The only people that can say no is Wigan Warriors and I haven't heard them stopping him.

You still haven't given any defensive reason in Thurston corner for his appauling tackle. Just like a typical aussie.
