That's the guy
woeful manager, no motivation, no tactical knoweldge, no knoweldge of players.

McWoanz - It's probably a little futile to get into a debate about the two: Pearson left us before his time after doing a good job and getting us into the playoffs, while Davies left you before his time after doing a good job and getting you into the playoffs.
It's only natural that we're generally very happy to see Pearson back just as many of your fans would have been happy to see Davies back (at least from what I've read).
I saw a lot of Leicester fans a few weeks back saying that Davies would be acceptable as a manager, disliked as a person, might be able to get us up but probably wouldn't have the skills to compete in the Premier League. How fair or accurate that is I don't know, but that's how he's perceived and that's how I tend to feel about him as well. I would have been satisfied with him but slightly preferred Dave Jones first - although for me the return of Pearson happily eclipses them both. Lastly, while Davies did play for us (apparently), I don't think many of us remember it!

I heard he's heading back off to Africa.
Sven Gabon Eriksson
And if that fails, he's going to become and Elton John tribute act.
Sven Your Song Eriksson
In all seriousness, I really hope Sven doesn't take a job in Iran. I would lose some respect for him if he did go there, seeing as how they have no footballing credibility and Human Rights are merely an irritance that they can avoid. It would also make me question why he took the Leicester job and wonder whether he was here for the money all along. He doesn't need the money, he's got a very nice nest-egg to live off, I think he should retire now.

Dave Jones is a woeful manager (I'm not getting into all the personal stuff but it's a difficult subject)
Jones plays dour, cheating football and is often unpopular with the fans of the club he manages (Cardiff being a case in point)

The first thing i thought when sven got the boot was that Billy would replace him. I would have been more than happy with that too. If it was Dave Jones i would have been very dissapointed. but in the end it was the guy who everybody thought wouldn't be in the frame, and even if he was would give us the two finger salute if we had asked him to come back. In all honesty i actually believe NP is the best option for us and im really happy to see him back. funny old world isn't it

It is a funny old world indeed.
If you'd said at the start of the season that by the end of November Forest would have SC in charge and Leicester would have NP back I think you'd have been laughed at. Especially if you said that in general most fans were happy with those two appointments.

Now that i've calmed down about the whole sven sacking thing i can see that we are better off with NP. Anybody else other than NP, BD or M O'N in charge here though and i would have said it was a step backwards tbh. It's far easier to be happy with any appointment after you've been through a couple of months with steve McClaren

Yes, he could well feature in an Elton John tribute band.
They'll close the gig with a rendition of
