How about a cheekey bid for Tiote as cover for Lucas? By my reckoning Necastle owe us at least £15 million from the Carroll transfer so surely they'd be willing to play ball?

I was thinking the same thing myself but with shelvey back don't see it happening.
Also don't think Newcastle owe us anything on the Carroll deal according to that lambias guy at the toon they forced us to pay upfront for Andy forcing us to get more upfront from Chelsea for Torres then was originally agreed.

James Perch would be a great buy for Liverpool, just as good as tiote, English and wouldn't cost much as he is severely underrated.
