Wigan soar high, Leeds scrape by

Wigan produced a 5 star performance to down the Saints, superb kicking, tackling and possession rugby well worth the win. Now top of the league and looking on form to push for more trophies.

Leeds however continue to struggle, just scraping by a determined Crusaders in the last moments, looking unlikely to make a dent on the winners podium for another year. However with two rising stars to come back soon in Watkins and Jones-Bishop do they have another gear in them?

Saints were poor tonight, don't get me wrong, Leeds are certainly not setting the league alight this year but the trophies are won in August and October not in June. Anyone found Sam Tomkins' teddy yet?

So now Wigan are top of the table, wow by ONE point, it`s as bad as listining to how good the rhinos are and waiting for them to storm back to form

sounds like a worried Warrington fan now they have slipped back to second and are losing games to small clubs

We were caught out last week like everyone else, Hudds lost, Wigan drew etc.
Seems like after the Exiles game everyone forgot how to play in the rain.
Not worried as long as we improve in the playoffs.

Wigan are in the hunt for trophies of course, Leeds on the other hand haven't beaten a top 4 club this season, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

Should be thinking about rebuilding for the future, no chance of trophies.

Leeds def on the wane, poor coach and an old squad, they will sneak 5th and pos a semifinal in playoffs but no silver this year. Looks like the fans voting with their feet shocking crowd at wrexham last night... Though after my four hour trip to watch trin on a friday night i can't blame them not travelling. I still fancy a fit Hudds to challange Wigan but my money is with Wigan for a gf win

Leeds are having a poor season but only by their own high standard.
I agree that 5th is probably the best we can hope for but I think we'll definately beat a top four club.
Although we have been poor I'm sure we are still a side that teams will want to avoid in the league and cup

1984 probably true but do you think Leeds could beat 2 top teams in a row to win the CC, as well as Hull?

Unlikely as McDermott does not have the winning touch looking at his poor coaching record.
