Anelka and alex imiment departure reveled

As i was browsing through the articles this morning i came across the sun link posted by originalcfc (U6070) ()

The sun have an article which apparently details the goings on which led to niko and alex leaving.

Heres the link: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3985281/SunSport-reveals-the-amazing-traning-ground-bust-up-that-left-Nicolas-Anelka-and-Alex-on-the-Chelsea-scrapheap.html

If you can't be bothered to read it the intersting points are, it reveals avb pretty much fired blank point shots at the team(deservedly) with alex and niko taking the full brunt.

"Anelka was first to feel the icy blast, with AVB turning to him and saying: "I don't want to see you anywhere near the first team again."

The insider claims he was no longer welcome and "He was banned from training with the first team, banned from using the training facilities if the first-team squad were using them — and told he would be training with the reserves from now on"

Pretty much the same follwed for alex

I'm interested to get your views on it....

but personally its about time someone sent a rocket up the players but for some reason i can't help but think they were attacked in such a way not down to their pooor displays but possibly down tp them being linked with almost every top club in the land.

I suspect avb found out they were securing a deal elsewhere and decided their no longer as commited as he'd liked and im all for the way he went about it.

Nice to see we finally have a manager that isnt intimidated by the egos

Long live AVB

An inside

How much of this article is true though?

I know Beasely is a Chelsea fan but he hates AVB and never wanted him as manager.

I suspect a great deal has been exaggerated.

They obviously had to write something about Chelsea to cover up the exits from Europe! Suprise, suprise!

IMO i think this article is ridiculous, this 'insider' thing is rubbish and designed to stir things up again

I think more than likely, Anelka and Alex handed in transfer requests, then they were relegated to the reserves.

As for the whole hard line approach, I think a similar sort of thing would probably have happened, but no way near to the level it is being described here.
