Just home from the match, not a great result, never dominant even against 10 men,Although Mcgrath worked his socks off especially in the second half i can't remember him or Bolder creating a single chance, all the creativity came from Taylor,Maghoma,Webster and Amankwaah. Central defence not convincing either. If we seriously want a play off place Pesch needs to work on these areas in the transfer window. Billy kee looked dangerous when he came on and Zola and Richards worked hard with little quality ball to feed on.I think we could have been brave and gone with 3 forwards today. At least we got a point but i still see this as 2pts lost. Perhaps i'm too demanding but happy as i am in 6th place i see a lot of room for improvement. All the very best of Christmas spirit to my fellow Brewers supporters on here.

Mixed feelings for me. On the one hand I have just seen a dreadful game of football - on the other we are 6th in the table and yet again we have got a point we didn't really deserve.
The whole of the first half seemed to be played in our half. The first 5 minutes of the second was more of the same. Our equaliser was out of the blue.
The sending off gave us some hope but we still didn't really carve anything out or make their goalie work.
Bad day at the office, we move on.

Yes, a bad day at the office.
Thought the selection was conservative to say the least and having posted last time out that competition for places was driving a few to up thier game, this 'safe' option seemed to have the opposite effect.
Hard to think of anyone who played to their potential against a side who who looked there for the taking and who certainly were more than happy with their point.
The central midfield pair have already had their share of comments but I thought we also lacked width with hardly any quality balls in to the box until Billy Kee came on and fizzed a couple of low balls across.
Agree that Aaron's form has dipped. Is the 100 goal thing an issue? I'd push him forward, as we did last season, and maybe get a few goals out of him.
Richards did not look fit, though I suppose it takes a couple of games to get the edge back.
Harsh on Chris Palmer to drop out - I thought he might get a bit of a run in the centre. Looked the part against Wimbledon and his dead ball play is better than we saw yesterday.
Lucky to get away with just the one yellow when everyone piled in. Heat of the moment, maybe, but aren't we supposed to be professionals?
And what about the ref? Stood back and let it all kick off, then took an age to get the game going again.
No keeper on the bench? Scary moment in the first half when Ross came racing to the edge of the box. Watching the League show on the red button this morning, there were a lot of dogy "reds" so it's quite a risk. Wonder who the nominated stand-in was?
So waht next? My 11 for Northampton - fitness permitting -
Atkins;Corbett, James, Austin, Blanchett; Maghoma, Palmer, McGrath, Webster; Zola & Kee
Northampton & Morecambe both on bad runs so no more slip ups guys, let's get the points in the bag as we've some tough away games in the second half.
