Rooneys fine; a bad precedent?

We all know the latest saga involving Englands finest footballer, Wayne Rooney.

Whilst it gives our detractors some (rather poor) ammunition to shoot us with, the fact Fergie took this action is worrying. Although it's good Fergie treated Rooney as equally as Gibson and Evans, is it too harsh on the three players?

At another club such as Liverpool, where players can do what they want, no action would have been taken. Infact the manager would have ranted at the media for daring to comment on the players lifestyle.

Does this laissez faire attitude towards discipline mean players will be more willing to sign for these smaller clubs than Manchester United?

Ask Giggsy the day SAF found out that he a few players got together for a house party, only for SAF to find out, storming in at 1 in the morn, and dragging them out
............................................................................

Haha! Lee Sharpe has told this story a few times, apparently Giggsy was on the phone to his mum bricking it that he was going to be thrown out of United, glory days!

And how did Giggsy's career go after that?
Greatest of all time, or something to that affect......

I suppose he's done ok for himself, although know one would have heard about Ryan Giggs had it not been for the media exposure he got from getting with Imogen Thomas!

Ryan Giggs, sleeping his way to the top since 2011.

I've always wondered who the other trainees were that were hiding in one of the upstairs cupboards during that house party when the manager burst through the door. I can remember Lee Sharpe saying that the manager never knew about them.

But Rooney could easily have had those drinks at home.

Southlondonmanc.....
Fine, whatever, but we don't know all the details, but the one that stands out, is that he was hungover the next day.
Do you not have a problem with our talisman being drunk at training?

I had never heard of Imogen Thomas until Giggs brought her to the worlds attention.

And now you have her 2012 calendar on your wall!
August is a corker!!
Yes, a bad move by the great one, as he now believes she wasn't setting him up.
Guess he panicked, and made a bad decision.
