After an embarassing conclusion to a good afternoon I thought i'd highlight a big positive which was the performance of Welbeck.
Clever in his movement, excellent control and passing, won the penalty and scored a good goal.
A generally superb performance playing as the main striker and I think he should have got the man of the match award.

He reminds me of Saha at times, especially in the way that he offers such great movement as Saha did early in the 06-07 season.

Saha... The right comparison. He must be a starter. I blame his benching for the newcastle loss. He just makes us better with his ball control and ability to stretch the field.
