I haven't commented before on any of the share deal as I haven't really read the full story but if today's statement is true, Ken Davy has received some horrendous and unnecessary abuse, and the T Shirt protest is just laughable.
I have no love for the Giants I want them to do well I have watched them a handful of times and even chose their Twickenham Challenge Cup Final over a regular season Town game, but all I want is for them to do well.
I have supported Town on field and off it too, and I will say that I dealt with Sean Jarvis (Decent Bloke) and Nigel Clibbens (RUTHLESS), Dean Hoyle had bigger fish to fry.
My opinion of Davy is he saved our club (not that we would of ever of gone to the wall) when we needed him, he then sold it to Dean it didn't need to or have to and I don't remember him holding Dean to ransom.
Sadly this is all very easily forgotten and people who lack intelligence, fail to understand the facts plan T Shirt protests and fire abuse at Davy in a public show of support for Dean Hoyle.
Now before the inevitable comeback I will say we couldn't have a better chairman in Dean Hoyle and on the occasions I have spoken to him it is very clear how proud he is of his position and the football club, but lets not kid ourselves behind the wonderful exterior lies a driven determined individual who has surrounded himself with the right people CLIBBENS and has probably upset one or two people along the way, anyway my point is Love Dean yes but Appreciate what Ken did when there was no Dean.

Imposter(hydy) - "Davy knew exactly what he was doing saving Town",, Urggh yes, Saving the Giants who could not afford the stadium on their own,, Nobody else came to save Town with enough to sort the creditors out which would have meant Town at the very least being given a Bournemouth/Luton style points deduction at some point, leading to probable relegation to the conference and a massive lack of sponsors/stadium income plus the inability to pay off all the creditors, players, ex-players,,,,, Davy lent Town over 3m to sort the debts out, Got Town on a stable financial footing and waited and waited for someone to take Town off his hands, Nobody came, Nobody could afford to take over the football club,,, I presume he transfered the shares to cover his "loan" something to show for his loan which was paying off the debts due to mis-management by the previous owners !,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,He stopped Pearson getting his claws in and then Deano arrived,,, The shares should have been sorted out then, Not as they have been.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,As for folk saying the Giants have used Towns money to pay for big money internationals,,,, Brett Hodgson earned just over 3k a week basic which is about the same as your average third tier footballer earns.

i know that 38....but this is a local man who has done this to his hometown sporting clubs!!
if it were ken bates i think we could be a little more understanding!
morally he,s in the wrong..legally not...and kirklees council should hang their heads in shame for letting it happen in the first place!
all huddersfield wants is ken to do the right thing and sell them back without conditions attached!

Richard- the following statement is a joke right??
"Sadly this is all very easily forgotten and people who lack intelligence, fail to understand the facts plan T Shirt protests and fire abuse at Davy in a public show of support for Dean Hoyle."
Read KD's "joke offer" in todays Examiner, you know the one which he hasn't directly offered to the club preferring to negotiate through the local media.
KD has also refused arbitration on the matter, why is that?
To say people "lack intelligence" is down right silly

So you have followed Davy around all day yesterday and you know that no attempt to contact Town has been made ? Perhaps Davy has tried to contact Hoyle and has been re-buffed ? Perhaps he hasnt,,, But this is in the interests of folk in Huddersfield so what is wrong with putting it in the examiner ? As far as i am concerned Davy is publically saying "lets get it on" forget about changing the rent and get the deal done,, Hoyley should have signed and got his shares back by dinnertime, job done, get back to proper business and end this silly charade,, Its all down to egos.

the latest offer is a joke!!!
he now wants to put both towns 40% share and the giants 20% share into the pot together in a community trust....which no doubt he will be running!!!
no ken!!!!! town want the 40% share back for htfc and put in a trust for htfc fans....not linked to the giants share!!
we dont want to be linked to the giants any more than groundsharing!

Bryce - are you in a relationship with Davy ? You seems to be the only one on here who can't see what he's done is totally wrong. Town are where we are today thanks to dean, ken was never willing to put his hands in his pockets and buy players, he was just there to cream our takings and fund those egg chasers
