Keep the ball rolling....

WIth signs of some new old members (thanks to Hil) and loads of things to talk about this week lets get some discussions going.

What's the reaction to Blackpool? I wasn't surprised with the team selection considering he did the same in the first leg and just wanted a good display. From what I heard we seemed to put in a decent display but slipped up at the end.

As for Tuesday I'm hoping to get down to the Glaziers to see the game and whatever happens we can all be proud of our club (hope that doesn't make me sound as nervous as I am!) but if we go to Wembley it will be AMAZING!

Finally next Tuesday should be a massive party as we're all still buzzing from Cardiff and what better way to celebrate a party than putting 5 past the seaweed!

...and cake. There must be cake at a party.

Ps. Hil's "Gathering" post is being pushed down by other clubs posting on here but if you haven't seen it then scroll down and have a look.

The team selection for Blackpool completely threw my prediction . That aside, a second string team to hold out for 85mins bodes well for the future.
As for Tues.....................Worried tbh. I've no doubt that we'll give it our all as will our fans and we do have the 'away goal rule' in our favour, but it'll be a big ask to get a result at Cardiff, but possible.

Having just cleaned the Crystal Ball, my prediction is 2-1 Cardiff on the night

As regards yesterday I listened in on PP and thought we would have held out. We seemed to be fairly comfortable until the subs.To change three was dubious wisdom but that's Dougie for you. I think he is a Tinkerman for sure and there have been some odd decisions this season. To be fair though, some have paid off.
On Tuesday anything can and probably will happen. A goaless draw is just as likely as us going two down early and then scoring a screamer of a free kick in injury time.
If I'm honest though, I think we can and will pull it off. Sorry for tempting fate but I feel it in my water. Cardiff look good for promotion where as we don't so I am hoping the football gods spread a bit of sharing around.
TUX if your prediction is cryptic or not, that will do for me.
I will call it a nervy 1-1. Cardiff giving it loads at the start in an attempt to even the score will leave a few gaps for a bit of Palace counter. We nick a goal from a set play and spend the rest of the game with everyone behind the ball. They get a pen from a silly Paddy challenge to make it level but that's their lot.
We go to Wembley and beat a Liverpool side depleted of Bellamy and Gerrard through injury.

Carlsberg don't do Palace results....but if they did....

I'm definitely nervous but also excited. It's the sort of nerves before your driving test.

If Carlsbery did Palace results then we would beat Liverpool 9-0!

Parish wants the scousers. I reckon it might just happen. Just the matter of a simple match down in Cardiff to navigate...
