If we can't attract smithy, or woodgate, who are injury prone now, what chance have we got of attracting any decent players.

Would much rather see Bowyer return as he is still a top proven player and a workhorse and sustains very few injuries which is what we need in the middle of the park compared to Smudger and Woody although if they happened i wouldnt complain but dont think i would offer either anymore than pay as you play

I would not be surprised if the Smith/Woodgate rumours are just there as a smokescreen to cover our genuine potential targets.

I remember Macca coming to the club, a manager with little track record, but a name that would placate the fans.

In that respect I think Woodgate might be the most likely name of these 3 to join us but all 3 of them would want money Leeds aren't prepared to pay.

I do like Woodgate as he is quality but only on a pay as you play basis which he already turned down at spurs so for me it aint happening.

christ lets bring back chapman and wallace to play up front, lukic to sort out our keeper problems and fairclough to play centre back he's also a fine manmarker.

honestly bates or whoever owns leeds now must be having a right laugh. loads of cash sales nothing back into the club - someones pockets are being well lined.
