JOHN FLECK made his first appearance for Blackpool since securing his loan move last Thursday against Crystal Palace in a dramatic 2-1 victory at Bloomfield Road on Saturday.
The midfielder, playing in an advanced attacking role, completed sixty minutes for the Seasiders and made several chances before being replaced with his side trailing by a single goal.
Fleck was unlucky not to score early in the match on eleven minutes after he gathered possession 20 yards from goal and bent a fierce drive just over the bar.
When given time and space on the ball Fleck stretched Palace with his range of passing and was unlucky to be substituted as Holloway tried to get his side back into the match.
Fleck started alongside another former Ger in the shape of Barry Ferguson, while fellow Murray Park graduate Danny Wilson was on the bench as he continues a loan spell from Liverpool.
The victory moved Ian Holloway's side within a point of the play-off zone with an FA Cup tie to come next weekend.
