Nadal will remain a legend despite loss!

Nadal is a legend and he is my favourite to win two Grand Slams this year and his game on hard-courts is getting better.
Yes Djokovic beat him but that was due to some stupid unforced errors and overdefensive strategy used by Nadal when he was playing Djokovic's serve by standing about 6 metres behind the baseline.

Yes Djokovic deserved to win today but I have to say that Nadal has still got the class and the stamina to remain on course for winning at least 17 Grand Slams in his career.
Vamos Rafa and well done to Djokovic who hung on to beat Nadal.

Ronaldinho, i admire your belief in your favourite player, but he will not overhaul Federer's Grand Slam wins and to win 2 out of the next 3 Slams this year is going to be a tall order.

Once Nadal loses half a yard of pace around the tennis court and time catches up on everyone, he will struggle to win another Slam. When will that happen? only time will tell, but he does have injury issues and i hope they do not rob him of the chance to prolong his tennis career as long as possible.

Novak was like a machine (again) and deserves his victory as he was the best player in this years Aussie Open.

The scary thing is, if it wasn't for an incredible semi final victory by Roger Federer in the French Open semi final last year, Djokovic would have won the famous Grand Slam last year. Now he is off and running in 2012

PLANK in name and PLANK in nature i see

So Nadal telling the world he is taking February off before the Australian Open starts, so he can recover from injuries still not 100% cleared up from when he sustained them in 2011.

Nadal is managing his body, as most people understand that the way he plays has more of an adverse effect on his body, than Roger Federer does. He already has had a serious knee problem and now a shoulder problem

Also PLANK, what part of "i hope they do not rob him of the chance to prolong his tennis career" didn't you understand

Nadal is a lowlife he cheated with uncle tony takes forever to serve when he's losing and then moonballs people to death. THankfully the glorious Nole Djokovic has emerged to keep him at bay especially since federer the mentally weak and frumpy rude swissman is now way past his weak-era prime

Lets not forget Novak can slow down between points to Bobby Even the commentator said in the semi final between Djokovic vs Murray, that Murray should point out to the umpire that he is taking far too long between points at a certain point in the match.

The only way you are going to speed up the time wasting in between points would be to have a visible stop watch on court counting down from the allotted time.

But i'm glad Djokovic won as you said the moonballs from Nadal can get a bit repetitive when Novak is smashing him all around the back of the court.

Very much doubt he will win 17, more likely 13-14 at the best.

On that note though, I made a prediction before this year started that 7 out of 8 slams in the next 2 years will be won by Djoker, Nadal and Murray.

As for the remaining slam, perhaps Federer, del Potro or Tsonga.
