Who do we fancy then??

It's deadline day and the Football world is buzzing with Transfer Speculation.

Who do you fancy to see at Town though??

Another Defender?

Another Midfielder who likes to push forward?

Another Striker to take some burden off Jordan (going no where) Rhodes??

Name some names and lets see if any end up coming.

Just read the McDermott thing,I thought it was a loan deal? Nope we've sold him and apparently made a profit too.

Surely someone must be coming in now? We have ward whos been injured/out of form and cads really, who could get injured at anytime.

Just read about the lad from Falkirk...the amount paid, & the fact he stay's there 'on loan' !
€300,000 i believe.
And the shares issue stumbles over games played-rent paid...(was the figure €24,000 !)

Huddersfield Town is NOT the club I supported as a youngster.

"contracts" complicate the Catering .
Saviour's brought in, on great wages (for League 1) & never used.
Seating/standing arrangements that are draconian in the extreme, (Yet many/most other clubs sort it out & give the home fans priority & choice)
Music so loud it kills conversation.
Players not even on the bench, who most other clubs at this level would have as starters every week.

This club is 'playing at it'.
We are going nowhere, rich owner or not.
There's more than the manager who are not pulling their weight darn on the 'Pharm..

I'm ready to 'walk' (never thought I'd feel like this when we are so well placed chasing promotion)

To quote 'Jim Royal'....

I've said it before and I'll say it again, LC is playing at being a premier league manager...squad rotation, playing weakened team in FA Cup, bamboozling tactics changed for each game, players given different tasks each week...He needs to get a large slice of reality..this is Division 3 mate ! Chuff me, we'll be flying off to Japan next !! Come on deano, get a grip man !

At least you have the sun on your back,,,,, Dont worry Darn, Hoyleys changed the plan to "long term", We may aswell flog Rhodes and cut our cloth for another couple of seasons of league one, Lower wages to pay next year, A big fish in the small pond, flirt with the play offs every season and Hoyles "toy money" lasts longer, crowds will drop but on the plus side we wont pay as much rent !

tbh - I dont think we have ever made good signings in january, Pilks and Jenkins apart.

tbh..
we havent signed anyone ..for now..

now does not appear to be important to lee clark, he is still under the misapprehension that its a 4/5 year plan..

if its goes that long, town will be dead in the water and deano hoyle really isnt rich enough to play catch up whilst the club isnt actually making any money over the years he has given clark to "get it right"..

success bring the punters in..be that males/females, families or haemophrodites...

face painting and berks on stilts might encourage kids to visit once or twice but im afraid football is still mostly about winning and losing..

We have signed a winger! A lad from Falkirk, maybe it was buy one get one free with that club!

Hopefully he wont have to go back on loan

Hoyles money will run out, Well in terms of what he is prepared to throw at the football club anyway.
because in the scheme of things, Even with his money, we ain't that rich.
I don't think we will get promoted.
But for arguments sake, lets say we do...THEN WHAT !
A lot more players of better quality will have to be bought, because the players that might take us 'up' aren't good enough to be contenders in the Championship. Not under L Clark anyway.
But being promoted will ensure Clark is still the manager...dilemma.
The players required, their higher wages, substantially so compared to now, will see Hoyles money slip through his hands like the sands of time..
The attendances will drop if we are mid table or lower,
along with the enrty fee also rising from what it is now.

& still the shares issue is not sorted out.
The catering (even if it was money towards TOWN )is rank bad.
And visiting fans get more consideration & better treatment than 'us'...Laughable.
Hoyle might have done well & made money in his chosen business, But he's making a pigs ear of running a football club.
