Jay Bothroyd

Just a quick one:

QPR have signed Djibril Cisse today, and look set to sign Bobby Zamora from Fulham too.

Now, Bothroyd, as far as i'm aware, he's not been playing much at all for QPR as it is, and as 2 strikers come in, surely he's going to be pushed further down the pecking order.

Would it be worth us putting a cheeky bid in for him? Maybe even a loan until the end of the season?

He's a very good striker at this level, and would add something different and a different option to our side.

Thoughts?

Rate him highly - but probably a bit late to go fishing !

He has played a few games, but with Zamora, Cisse and Helguson ahead of him in the pecking order he might want a move. Good championship player IMO
