Theo Walcott's critics

Diego Maradona has labelled Theo Walcott as being just like himself playing wise and I couldn’t disagree. Walcott has terrific vision, technique, passing and awareness. Theo Walcott is like a magician on the ball and the doubters coming out with nonsense such as "Walcott over-rated" are talking completely nonsense. It was these kind of people that used to label Maradona has over-hyped between 1977 and 1986 when great things were expected of Maradona but failed to deliver especially with his disastrous 1982 world cup and disaster two years at Barcelona. Maradonas first two years at Napoli were not successful either and this was at a time when Maradona was being outshone by the likes of Platini, Zico, Rummenigge, Boniek, Belanov, Elkjaer and many others but the football purist knew that Maradona was the real deal and just look at what Maradona did to Argentina and Napoli was truly and utterly remarkable.

But the biggest garbage I tend to hear is Wayne Rooney being better than Theo Walcott which is just complete and utter nonsense and laughable. Its absolute madnesss.
Sir Bobby Robson has described Theo Walcott as the greatest talent he has seen to emerge since Maradona and I couldent agree more.
