So the Wolves have finally got rid of Mad Mick. 1 win in 13 games was enough to see him finally take the bullet.
What is the Wolves fans thoughts on this and who the next manager should be?
I was on a wolves forum on facebook last night talking to my mate and a few on there wanted CH (which is why I also put this on the blues board). For Wolves fans is this who you would want? To blues fans do you think CH would go there?
Personally I can't see CH going to Wolves, he can see what McJudas as had to put up with by going the villa. He is also starting to build a team which could go up this year, whereas Wolves look certain to go down this year.
The timing by Wolves management is poor, who ever comes in will be unable to bring anybody in and will just have to work with the rubbish left behind by Mad Mick. You would have to be insane to take over at Dingletown surely? Steve Bruce anyone?
Mad Mick has gone

"I've seen your posts before and you've clearly got some sort of Wolves fetish."
Nope.....
Most of my family are Wolves, friends i know seem 50/50 Wolves/WBA when they should be Walsall
I have respect for Wolves they have potential but then History means not much its how well they doing now and Wolves have been poor last 2 seasons but last season they did make the difference last run of games and saw Blues relegated.
As i said Manager is important, if WBA never got Hodgson, say u got Big Eck you would have been relegated that season.
WBA fans will be against Wolves and vice versa and a lot depends where you live, as to how bad the rivalry and bitterness can be.
WBA are better side as far as how they are doing, the fans are not as fickle and support the side more than being negative....
West Brom is still a dive though, cant stand the place. (not all Sandwell) just West Brom it needs nuking lol.

"Like Wenger he is a great tactician one of the best"
Come on KiD,I know it's the weekend and all that but surely it's a bit early to be high on crack, isn't it?
He's the worst Premier League manager of all time, one of the best tacticians?

Thats your oppinion
Arsenal have not been doing great because well they dont spend, the dont pay the wages etc.
If a new rule came in and clubs can only spend according to their clubs income and not from owners and there was a cap on sponsorship etc. (i.e Stop some Arab pay Millions and Millions to rename the ground).
Then Arsenal would not be as disapointing.
Since Chelsea and Man City started throwing money about it was Arsenal who gave Man Utd the run for the money.
Liverpool also never spent to match Chelsea when they came on the scene (Abramovich era) and they thus started to struggle.
Man Utd matches and upped the game as far as spending goes and Arsenal well they never spent like even Liverpool and Spurs, thats why they started to falter.
Then lack of sucsess effects conidence and morale and Wenger just cant motivate good enough.
If Wenger was so poor, then how come Arsenal did well under him before the cash cowboys started paying £15-20M a player and £150K+ wages.
Managers are important, had Wolves sacked MM and got Hodgson at the time WBA sacked Di Matteo i think Wolves would be doing better.
I think JH Baggie was being biased to his side, which well fans would do.
The way i look at it is Managers are very important i mean come on look at Blues squad its not fantastic, on Paper Ridgewell, Carr and Zigic are the main players.
But they have not played as often as others and have not had the greatest effect for us.
Look at Leicester and the squad they built and they are not doing as well as expected, look at West Ham and the players they could sign who we would have dreamed off under our circumstances and a lot of them dont get many games.
Yet we are only 6 points off the overwhelming favorites West Ham.
Bottom Line because Hughton is doing a great job, just like Hodgson is doing with WBA.

Here is the best squad i would pick from both sides.
GK Foster
DF Reid
DF Olsson
DF Johnson
DF Shorey
MF Jarvis
MF O'Hara
MF Mulumbu? or Scharner
MF Brunt
ST Odemwingie
ST Fletcher
SB Hennessey
SB Ridgewell
SB Bassong
SB Scharner or Mulumbu
SB Thomas
SB Doyle
SB Long
Wolves weak point is fullbacks but then WBA could do with improvements but for Wolves its weaker.
Some players its down to form as i rate Doyle better than Long and Fletcher.
Wolves are missing pair of fullbacks and a midfield player who can break up play who is better than Henry.
Then its just their Strikers need to hit form better.

Bloody hell i didn't ask for your life family story.
Your claims simply have no substance and is purely your personal opinion.
Ihowever deal in stats and facts and they read as follows....
WBA 2-0 Wolves
Wolves 1-5 WBA
13 years since Wo1ve5 last finished above WBA.
It's fine though because you can big them up all you want next season when you may possibly be playing each other in the West Mids Championship derby.
Good Luck trying to get back to the top

breif highlights on MOTD and Football First and you think you know my team better than a home and away season ticket holder
The fact you put Johnson and Shorey in your team pretty much shows you don't have a clue both are useless you only have to read the Wolves forums to see RJ was the biggest waste of money they've ever had
As i say it's all guess work with you and clear bias. FACTS are FACTS and we're just better. Simple.
You could actually say we're the best team in the West Mids right now.
Villa 1-2 WBA
WBA 2-0 Wolves
Wlves 1-5 WBA
WBA ?-? Villa
14 th WBA
15th Villa
18th Wo1ve5

Well you want because while the Dingles have Wums you are just the Baggies one...
For the record most Baggie fans i meet dont have the cocky attitude the Wolves do. i been to a few WBA games this season and i think as with Wolves the fullbacks are areas needed to improve.
As far as Ridgewell well, i dont watch WBA week in week out so maybe he goes there instead of Shorey but then Ridgewell is decent and good enough for a side thats not Top 10.
RJ may have been disapointing for Wolves but he was top draw for Blues, the most of Wolves sqaud has done poor this season.
I have not said they are better than Wolves this season and i think the poor Manager has a lot to do with it.
Because if Blues got promoted i would take Doyle, Johnson, Jarvis and O'Hara right away i think they are all good players as far as bottom 10 side goes.
And i have not gone past facts.....
Had i said Wolves are better nope..... Wolves have potential as far as Club goes, but they have over last two seasons started to hit a road block as far as how they perform.
They need to sort it out because on paper, they are not all that bad but under Muppet Mick they side was just starting to fall into the abyss.
About the game well i watched it and it was not one as sided WBA had most chances and that was the difference Wolves could not create enough, both Keepers did well to keep sides in game. Then Wolves pulled back to 1-1 and it was game on.
You may see it different because your gonna be biased, i am not i want Wolves and WBA to do well but if both got relegated to League 2 it would not matter that much to me
Anwayway once WBA made it 2-1 it shocked Wolves they started to feel the pressure, their heads dropped fans got on their backs (this is where WBA are not as negative and have a Manager who can motivate).
A Wolves side then faced low confidence due to the score, the lack of morale and confidence in MM started to show both from fans and players and then goal number 3 went in and Wolves may had packed up and gone home as WBA was all over them and had the game lasted longer we would have seen more goals.

Oh and as far as big em up....
I am not because i am really concerned for them, i feel they are in trouble. I felt the same for WBA a few years ago only you sacked your Manager and got Hodgson in at the right time.
For Wolves it maybe too little too late.
As far as family story goes, you wanted to know what fetish i have for Wolves, and so i explained why.
I have respect for WBA aswell and their fans do not seem as fickle, i guess because WBA fans are laid back and do not expect WBA to be a regular Prem side with the devine rights. Stoke fans likewise and both clubs are just enjoying their spell in the Prem and are making the right improvements each year.
Wolves fans well because of the History and Potential they just have far too high expectations.
Looking back i would have been happy to be a Walsall fan.... funny enough i find its odd that such a town has such a small club. Walsall is a decent place, has decent catchment area.
Sadly a lot of areas near it choose to support Wolves, WBA and Villa instead.

.......................................................................
Then you have absolutely no idea what the game of football is.
Doyle ahead of Long is bad, but, even as a Baggies fan, to have him ahead of Fletcher is just an unbelievable statement to make. He's got you goals from everywhere, and has achieved Wolves some huge points.
Doyle lacks scoring goals, and that is what being a striker is all about. He's a worker, but if you aren't hitting the net, the fans get annoyed.
Long is pacey and is a worker himself, but fortunately for him, particularly this season, he's had the luck of the Irish.
I've only watched Wolves in about 6 of their games this season, and Fletcher has really impressed me. Doyle has not really done anything to rate him highly at all.

I am a Bluenose not a Wolves fan, my point is that i think Doyle is the better player overall but he has not had a good season this year he does have a lot ot his game though.
Fletcher is having a good season, but then again players can have good then bad seasons, consistancy is key and sadly players who can get goals on a consistant basis do not stay at bottom 10 clubs for long.
Fletcher is touted at £8M but then again Doyle was touted at £10M before for Wolves.
Johnson for us did well and had we stayed up i think we would have wanted £8M+ for him as it stands now if Wolves get relegated they may not get £4M for him.
