When the next zookeeper zooms in, the choristers will have to cope with a new version of ‘Barmy Army’.
There was some oik at Tranmere who had obviously just managed to get the hang of ‘Lee Clark’s barmy army’, 38 months on, and in imitation of one of Mr Pavlov’s pooches, he chanted the mantra non-stop throughout the first-half of the game at least, even though the fare in front of him was mind-numbing to the vast majority of Town fans.
Imagine if the manager is called Eyjafjallajökull Wolfeschlegelsteinhausenberger! There ain’t going to be a peep out of ‘em!

i suppose the board will now have to take under serious consideration the appointment of a manager that allows the singing section to be able to fit his name into the song..
they may also like to take into account that we will have foreigners, scots or irish blokes but we dont want anymore bleeding geordies..
Clark was looking poor in a suit as well, thats a big factor in the appointment. We could also do with someone who smiles and can at least make a reporter laugh during an interview..
the lower considerations, such as training, team selection and tactics may be quickly discussed at the end of the boards deliberations over a cup of tea and a bourbon...
