Interesting read that Wethers, hopefully they are incorrect saying we sacked Clark assuming we would get him.

Because as soon as Warnock left QPR i thought to myself could we get him. Surely that can't have been Deano's sole purpose for getting rid or he has some egg on his face.

It does read as though Deano is willing to pay whatever to get us out of this league. If that's the case can we expect some big money loan signing to see us home?

Good result for Stevenage, presume 28th will be replay date so Town game put back again...which means Rhodes should be available and a new manager will have hopefully settled in by then.

Being the worrying type...I see MKDons remaining games are all against middle/lower placed teams, bar one,...Sheff Utd at home...This season is proving harder than last...Charlton. Wendies & MKD have improved and we've pretty much stagnated...then Sheff Utd and Stevenage come along.

I think we are destined to remain here..and if you think next season will be any better..Crawley, Swindon, Coventry, Forest and Donny...Why isn't it easy ?

its as easy as you make it..ask norwich, brighton and charlton...none of those 3 would be deemed to be massive clubs...with limitless cash and great players..just good teams, well managed and with a collective purpose.. We had a manager whos ambitions had little to do with town and a number of players who couldnt wait to earn more money alongside a load earning very good money without having to do much for it..

If we can pay a manager a million quid a year we should have paid lambert 10 grand a week.. chucking good money after bad isnt good business sense.. Id do it for half that..

How much extra was it going to cost him over and above the agreed price for 40% of the shares again ???? 35k..

Its getting a bit bizarre, thinking back on the subs made in the blades game makes me wonder if clark was aware of his impending phone call??
