Carl Froch called d.chisroa a disgrace for this actions, but in my option him admiting prolonging title fight to enable members of his family to benefit financially is more disgraceful.

A lot of boxers do things like this, Haye done it in the Fraudley fight

it's not boxing though. fair enough if your confident enough of stopping someone in a particular round but to prolong the fight for financial means is wrong.
Haye could have finished fraudley inside 30s of round 1 if he wanted to hit him

But NOT saying it...and admitting it was for financial gain..be it, himeself or others, should really be investigated

So just out of interest how many people does Frouch need to tell not to make it illegal?
10 people
100 people
1000 people
What number of people need to know before he can pick when he wants to end a fight?

Prolonging a beating can injure an opponent more than finishing it quickly. Whatever Froch said, it does not sound good.

Does that make it right?

what i don't understand is why froch felt the need to open his mouth? prolonging a fight is one thing but telling everyone that you've done it is ridiculous.
i struggle to see how that is any less serious than bowling a no ball at a pre-determined time.

Froch can prolong the fight for as long as he likes, it's not in the rules that he has to knock someone out as quickly as possible. It isn't cheating.
As for people putting money on it, there's a risk Fdoch could be knocked out before it reaches the round that he chose. There is no certainty that the fight would last as long as he said it would, which is different from the xricket scenario, as bowling no-balls at a pre-determined time is a certainty.
It would be different if he threw a fight of course

if we're honest about it, spot fixing no balls is a long way from throwing a match and doesn't affect the result in reality.
i'm a nottingham lad and a froch fan but he really ought to have kept his mouth shut on this occasion.

boxing and cricket can't really be compared but i think there is a moral issue here. like somebody has said previously, prolonging a fight could lead to a fighter being hurt unnecessarily which is something nobody wants to see
