Right, I'm bored with talking about Clark, Grayson etc etc...
so,..
Tonight MKD will more than likely take 4th place off us as they entertain Bury at Stadium MK...a 2 goal win will see town slip to 5th...although we will have a game in hand on them. charlton are at home to Rochdale too, so 3 points there , maybe ? On wednesday Stevenage go to Notts co. where I assume the away team will win, let's say.
The real action is at the weekend tho'...and the league table before Town entertain Exeter will probably be--
.................Pld pts
Charlton......31 71
Sheff utd.....30 62
Sheff W.......32 57
MKD...........31 55
Town..........30 55
Stevge........29 51
At the weekend we have
Charlton v Stevenage....home win
B'mouth v MKDons home win
Town v Exeter home win
and on sunday..
Sheff Wed v Sheff Utd.
On saturday night then, the table could be-
Charlton.........32 74 pts
Sheff Utd........30 62
Town.............31 58
Sheff W..........32 57
MKD..............31 55
Stevnge .........30 51
This being the case, are we better hoping for Wendies to beat utd at Hillsbro', which even though it pushes Town back to 4th, reins in the Blades a bit, and town will still have 2 games in hand on Wendies to pull away from them ?
moving on....

We still won't catch em tez not even if they draw another 5 in a row.

Lets concentrate on Sheff U first. Should only be 4 points behind them come 5 pm on Saturday.

blimey, i might have mentioned last week before charlton drew 2 in a row that even the top position might not be a foregone conclusion.. In fact i did...
the blades will lose and draw games in the run in as well..
brighton were strong going forward and in defence, saints were a class apart, the teams at the top this season are not a patch on either..
Apologies for repeating myself...

Charlton feeling the pressure of Utd closing in on them..? 1-1 with Rochdale.
If we can apply some pressure on Utd, then who knows what will happen.
If we can drag either back into the 'mix' then it's a whole different ball game.
next 2 games..(sat and next tues)
Charlton v Stevenage
Chesterfield v Charlton
Wed v Utd
Utd v Scunny
B'mouth v MKD
Town v Exeter
Stevenage v Town
The league table might look a lot better by the middle of next week..and by next saturday tea time we could be 2nd again, just 5 points behind Charlton with a game in hand..
Then week after another round of midweek games..and Utd have 3 away games in a row..
Just need belief...anything can happen, it is definately not all over yet !
