Peter Clarke aside ..Town Lack Natural Leaders ..
Back Line ..
Morrison, Mccombe, Kay, .. Sadly Lacking in these Key Qualities ..
Midfield ~ Gobern, Arfield, Johnson, Miller, Robinson in fact perm anyone from at least 10 and there ain't one Stand Out leader ..
I Blame Clark for this who just couldn't wouldn't try handle STRONG Personalities so avoided signing them .. and unless Simon Grayson can MAKE or BRING one in to Galvanise the team together ~ We are still gonna struggle ..
I disagree with many inc Simon Grayson that Clark has left us with
a Terrific Squad .. No, Far from it .. Too Many are Too Ordinary ~ and it will be one of Graysons difficult early challenges to see just what he can get from this Obese, Over Populated, boom and bust squad ..
Anyone agree .. ? ? ?.. Or is it just possible that with Enthusiastic Encouragement from Grayson and Bold Confidence Giving from his backroom boys someone like Joey can be Strong Minded enough to Step Up & Take Control by giving this Leadership Plate a right good licking .. ?
Alas I'm not at all sure Grayson will find an Instant Quick Fix for this and it'll be a tough 5 Matches before we come off the bend and into the home straight at full tilt .. My how I wish Grayson still had Pilks
n Pelts to work with ..
Such a Lot to Sort Out .. We Do/Must All of us Wish Em Well ..
Leaders Required .. ?

Simon didn,t have a leader at Leeds either but Joey? you are having a laugh I thought he was a total waste of space putting the minimum of effort in. I also think that if you paid a £1mfor Ward you were robbed

Boots…
People within a football club, especially a new manager in his first week, are expected to say that the squad is fantastic/talented/awesome… or whatever.
Don’t forget, they have a vested interest in the product being conceived to be of good quality, even when some of the so-called highlights on programmes like ‘Match Of The Day’, are as dull as dishwater.
There are occasional jibes at footballer in general… speaking at the International Football Arena conference in Zurich, last November, the President of FC Zurich, Ancillo Canepa, said about players… “Sometimes they are helpless without their agents, they can't even find the toilet!”
Of course, football clubs are quick to criticise any outside agency they don’t agree with. Amazingly, only yesterday, Rangers owner Craig Whyte suggested that HMRC officials seemed to be determined to "make an example" of the Ibrox club, which was forced into administration last week over an unpaid tax bill of £9m.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Whyte stated: "Given that HMRC had seen fit to reach agreements with huge corporations owing far more than Rangers… it was difficult to understand why they were being so inflexible unless, of course, they were simply determined to make an example of Rangers."
£9m! That’s mucho moolah!

he sold 3 years worth of season tickets to fund his takeover???
no one knows where that money went..
he should stay very, very quiet..
I think falling out with some of the "rangers" support could be very harmfull to your future "ability to breathe"..

Money has killed our game...the mega stars nowadays, from all over the world, plying their trade in england aren;t that much better than the guys from the 60's and 70's...It is all hype and razzamataz and has just become big business. Most games are sterile, even against european opposition who are all in the same mold...
bring back the days of dirty italians. fouling, diving and cheating...and the Argie's squaring up for fisty cuffs...the Norman hunters, Nobby stiles, darren Bullocks...you know..a bit of passion and lots of bottle...the fans loved it...
Nowadays is non contact...tip tap tip tap...dive...scream...free kick...yellow card..sneaky smile to camera...in fact a blooming joke...
Money has killed it.

It was announced on Tuesday that Manchester United’s debt was £439m at the end of 2011, less than the £508m reported 12 months previously. (BBC website)
Oh well… that’s all right then!
It was announced on Wednesday that Manchester United are ready to offer Nani a new £27m contract.
The Red Devils plan to add the Portuguese winger to their top earners by giving him a new four-year deal worth £130,000 a week. (Mail Online)
A mad world, my masters!

And, from the BBC Sport website today...
Portsmouth administrator Trevor Birch has admitted the club may not have enough money to see out the season.
Birch addressed fans for an hour at Fratton Park on Wednesday, a day when 33 members of staff were made redundant.
However, he says he was left with little choice but to make cuts as he tries to ensure the club's remaining money lasts as long as possible.
"We are struggling to make the end of the season. The cash available is worse than we first feared," said Birch.
Portsmouth F.C. were in the Premier League during the 2009-10 season.

The Rangers thing is dodgy as hell, there has been something going on there thats not legal or very borderline.
The Man Utd situation is different as they can make serious money and the Glazers are on track to pay back all of the Man Utd debt. The funny thing is that they are using the club to do this so with minimal personal outlay they have got themselves a £1bn+ asset and being paid for doing so! Thats why they wont sell as its going to be their family's pension plan for many years to come.
The Portsmouth situation is tragic for the fans as bad financial management has ruined that club and even if it survives will probably be a League 2 club in a few years time and for the foreseable future. Good old 'arry!

The BBC Sport website reported yesterday…
“Rangers' tax bill is much greater than the £9m that forced the club into administration, BBC Scotland understands.
HMRC documents suggest it owes more than £13m and the bill could rise to £15m by the end of the month.”
Any advance on £15?
