It's just another game....

Isn't it?

Not quite, and I don't think there's a sane person in our fine city who believes that for one minute.

This time there's no Churchillian speech or call to arms, that's been done before enough. Just a simple request for us to give 100% and to remind us all why we love this team and this fixture.

The players and to a certain extent Megson, have let us down of late, but tomorrow isn't a time for recriminations or finger pointing. All bets are off as far as getting on the players backs goes tomorrow.

There may be a few out there think that because United have built up a healthy lead over us now that it might not bother them that much should we win. It will, it will hurt like hell as it should do.

Far too many of our players have underachieved lately but tomorrow they have to buck that trend. And it won't be a case of over achieving because we know they have it in them.

We have to get stuck into United from the off, Wilson will have them set up for all 3 points.

The atmosphere will truly be something else tomorrow, the first time in a long time that this fixture has sold out. We need to use this to our advantage.

As much as it pains me to say it United are favourites for the game. The first goal will be vital and if it goes the wrong way then we have to hit back sharpish and ensure the heads don't drop.

United are by no means a one man team, but if we stop Evans then we go a long way to stifling our opponents.

Losing JJ was a blow but let's see what Antonio can bring to the table. I would start with Madine and O'Grady up front personally, that pairing is for me the best for this game.

I can take us losing tomorrow but what I can't take is a lack of fight and effort. Give everything and that's half the job done.

Win, lose or draw, come Monday morning I'll still be proud to be blue and white.

Charlton result was good for us..

Carlisle 3 ( extra time winner ) - Yeovil 2 was a bad result for us..

Wycombe Wanderes 6 shots on target
Hartlepool 7 shots on target

..Wycombe winning 5-0.. sez it all

Barca, I see yer drift..

..that would keep you 4 points behind the piggies on same amount of games..

.. and two points behind us with two games in hand..

..this league for us,is now starting to be ' look over yer shoulder ' at 7th spot..

.. but I still question the fixtures.. that we have played more league games at this point while going further in the F.A. cup other than Stevanage in this league..

..maybe the sides with games in hand will become more Knackered in the run in

looking at your remaining fixtures they all look winnable..so i wouldnt rule yourselves out of the autos just yet!

Yes, good luck Owls! Could be a big game at our place on 7th April. Although 2nd spot is between us & United , just my opinion.

Just looking at the table, trying to be neutral. (didnt work) And if anyone had told me, that we'd be in this position at the close of last season. I would have taken it, this seasons been full of surprises, but I think the playoffs would be a good result. As we have failed time and time again to finish teams off, how many times this season have we had 10 or 11 chances on target? far exceeding our opposition, and managed to scrape a 2-1. Our goal difference tells the story, Madine Is good enough to be a 20+ goal a season striker but hes been sulking instead of scoring since he came back from injury. (At the time I believe he was deadlier than Rhodes)

Anyway It took Leeds 3 seasons to get out of this division, we need an extra little bit to be in with a chance, we are far better this season but we havent been good enough. (And I think Megson has done a fantastic job of getting us to this standard)

If we get Madine in the goals again we may still have a chance and what better place to start than in front of the biggest crowd of the season.

Anyway heres me hoping for a big win, and a performance worthy of the crowd.
