I have said on a few occasions lets play him up front and got laughed at and most of the time he hasnt done himself justice and i have looked like a spanner for making such comments!
I still believe in making him a striker and its quite simple:
* When its a quick decision ie chelsea game he won the ball and walked through and scored or today run and shoot he is great
* but when he has time to look up think etc it goes wrong
I believe a strikers game is based on instinct alot of time and playing in betwwen the cb and full back he would be very affective esp as v persies partner

Wait until the next game. He will f every goal scoring opportuinity he will get. We've been here before. Playing good and scoring marvellous goals in one game, then goes to the Carribean for following 10 games.

suppose to mean what? wenger has played nikki b, vela, eduardo and now walcott out on the wing when it obviously not there position
the only reason walcott looks ok there is coz the pace he has running past the opposing full back he has no skills to take men on and when the other team defends deep meaning no space to run thats when his game looks crud this also proves why he makes a good impact sub, games get stretched and he exploits the spaces left

He seems to finish better when he's under pressure.

Absolutely he does. Always has. Think back to his first meaningful goal for us. Against Chelsea in the league cup final. Thats what he has over Henry.
Its just a matter of confidence and quick ball. Thats all it needs.
Gervinho is not bad. Arshavin was not bad. Finishing is about giving the opportunity by your midfield. Thats what we have been missing the entire season. Until the Blackburn game.

May i add that if walcott was against us esp today we would have lost possibly by a large amount coz our defence plays stupidly high lines for players like him to run behind
rather him played for us than against

Walcott should work with a sports psychologist, his main problem is confidence but when he has it he's so dangerous. His general play might not be great but it doesn't need to be if he sticks to his strengths.

Spot on. And the issue with off-sides is purely down to poor coaching. I suspect Pat Rice.
When Mert played we knew he was too slow to play the 1990s offside trap and we defended deeper as we used to with the older Sol. That meant we actually looked more secure.
With Verm and Kos someone has obviously said that they can recover if someone springs the trap. Which is ridiculous when you have players with pace and ability of Bale.

It is not a coincidence that Walnut came into the game when we were 3-2 up - as soon as the $puds pushed on against us then Walnut's pace became a reall y big weapon - Walnut is an impact player when the opposition attacks continually and leaves space in behind - but he should not start for us against most premiership teams because we know what happens.
