Australia posted a score of 271

Warner 100
Clarke 117

A decent score, however Sri Lanka currently on 106 - 0 (16Overs)

The openers laying a solid platform to buiild on.

Sri Lanka looking strionger with each game, the Asia cup should be interesting and also Englands tour

Warner is out for 100 in the 46th over. Congratulations to him for costing his team the game, and yet the history books, and the batting averages and all that other cra'p will see this as a positive day for that man.

Stats can be so misleading. Misbah, Kallis and Chanderpaul have played similar match-losing innings.

World Cup quarter-final 2011

West Indies Vs Pak, WI losing wicket after wicket and Chanders is taking singles of the first or second ball of the over when batting with the tail

Did anyone ever doubt this final series wasn't going to go the extra day....
I'm not suggesting for one minute the Aussies played Sri-Lanka in....no-way..

BUT there was a time in the middle overs of the OZ innings when the run rate should of been given a little bit of a hurry up given they had plenty of wickets on hand and the skipper having trouble running.

The 3rd game was always going to be played.$$$$$$$

Quarter final was over after first 10 overs.Pretty harsh to label Chanderpaul's as match losing but fully agree with Misbah and partly with Kallis ( But one or 2 match losing are not even miniscule in proportion to what he has achieved.

40.2 Abdul Razzaq to Chanderpaul, 1 leg bye, 78.7 mph, on the pads, rolls away behind square-leg region

41.1 Shahid Afridi to Chanderpaul, 1 run, 59.0 mph, on the middle and off, slow through the air, punched down to long-on

43.2 Shahid Afridi to Chanderpaul, 1 run, 48.8 mph, gets back to work it past square-leg

West Indies 112 All Out in 43.3 Overs

Chanderpaul 44*, Improves his average, looks good in the record books, but an extremely selfish innings.

I think all 3 are very good batsman, I just lose respect for them when they play for themselves. There are many other batsman that do it. Seems like Kallis is more a team player now, so that's good.

Misbah is more a block block block six player and does not have fluent drives in his armoury and that why he has been involved in atleast couple of 'match losing' innings.Would not be fair to say that he places self glory and averages before the team.Captaincy record in test is a good answer to such criticism.

No doubt Chander deserve such criticism to an extent.
