Later today Cliftonville meet The New Saints of Wales in the 1st leg of their Rd 1 Europa League qualifier .
I'd like to wish Cliftonville all the best in this match. I believe they have a very good chance of progressing to the next round.
I have always had a liking for Cliftonville FC from meeting hundreds of their fans at Republic of Ireland matches (home and away) down through the years.
Great bunch of lads who are very passionate fans of both their own club and the Republic of Ireland side. Like all our Northern based supporters these lads are always very welcome at ROI matches and always get right behind the team.
C'mon The Red Army!!!
All the best to Cliftonville

Cliftonville are the only team I like in the Irish league. Imagined they moved to the LOI like Derry city. Would be great imo.

I'd love it. As a team they would definitely improve as well. They would be playing week in week out against sides of a much higher level than the Irish league.
It would be great to have a Dublin v Belfast rivalry going as well

Cliftonville are a Belfast team! Always have been! They should play in their own league which they founded themselves. ie. the IPL, rather than running away to play in a different foreign league simply to satisfy the political agendas of a few narrow minded extremists! Im sure they'll stay where they belong!
The only reason Derry City moved to the LOI was because their own supporters had become so sectarian and bigoted that other clubs were unable to visit their ground cos the police could not guarantee their safety. Im not just talking about Linfield. The Brandywell Bigots were also keen on attacking the supporters of Coleraine, Portadown, Glentoran, Ballymena, Crusaders and others. I suggest they stay in the LOI until they learn some manners!
