India got a good bargain!!!

India got a good bargain!!! Tendulkar's 100th century only costed them Asia cup tournament, not a bad deal. As someone rightly said "Tendulkar is bigger than the game"
Pakistan if wins the final will gain some support for their "young & uprising" captain Misbah.
Bangladesh managed to be gain some respect and can proudly face their home crowd.......
But what did Sri Lanka gain???? probably just hard earned cash.

You know what, the cynic in me agrees with everything you say (Even if it is said in jest).

India not only get Tendu's 100th 100, but also get a new poster boy in Virat Kohli to sell advertisements for the next 15 years after the retirement of Tendu.

Pakistan get a great opportunity to win the Asia Cup for the first time in over a decade.

Bangladesh prove the doubters wrong and earn respect after the constant jibes about them not improving.

Sri Lankan cricket team are neither world-beaters or minnows, they have already earned respect by getting to the CB Final and now all they were interested in was making money.

I hope this all is not true, but if it is, then Cricket (especially Asian cricket) is becoming more and more like the WWF/E.

Sri Lanka got some much needed rest before they take on England as they have been on the road none stop, first in South Africa, followed by Austrailia and then Bangladesh. They were looking really weiry.

go easy on me as English is only my 5th language choice after:

Punjabi, Urdu, Hindi and Gujarati.

Punjabi, Urdu, Hindi and Gujarati.

Are they languages? I thought they were dishes on an Indian restaurant menu.

Maybe so but there 4 languages in the sub cont (there are many more) but these 4 all sound and more or less mean the same.

Unless they get rid of this mentality that records precede team glory they will never become a force to reckon.Mark Taylor set a classic example in 98 against Pakistan in Peshawar but I am afraid in this modern era there is insatiable appetite.
