i havent renewed yet either mate. deadline is friday and until then my ticket price is £339

Ive kinda come to the decision ill bide my time to decide and see what happens with towns end to the season. at worse if we win playoffs my seat will go up to £435. an extra £100 make no odds to me (dont mean to sound rude to the less wealthy)

so mate its worth me waiting and having a rethink. i might still renew in league 1 ill just av to pay a little more than it is now but who cares.

i renewed,,4 season tickets..they have already lost one of us, he has better things to do..
4 x 40 odd quid is worth saving should we fail in the play offs..
if miracles do happen and the other 3 teams suffer serious illnesses that decimate their squads and the ref and linesman in all 3 games are on our side, then it will be a very big saving..
I bought by card so have 7 days to re consider, but all in all, i support town and dean hoyle...the rest can f-ck off for all i care.. they are wearing "my shirt", none of them are boothy or the like so will never be legends and as they couldnt give a rats ars- about the club I hope dean hoyle uses his financial muscle to sit most of them in the stands next year, rather than giving those on contracts away.. for a lot of them a season in the total wilderness will finish their careers in this or any higher division.. they have been warned i believe!!!!

I've renewed on the cheaper rate because compared to Tez I am a pauper.

by the way i am counting rhodes in the above..
35 goals yes, but two games running the centre halves have had a day off..not acceptable in my book for a "legend", boothy and others would at least have "marked" the wednesday centre halves and the bnfmuff boys yesterday.. alan lee just fell over and gave it away etc etc..

I will renew, Ive had a season ticket for 27 years now so unlikely that Im not going to but its just the motivation to pay the money when the players are as described above. Hoyle has my loyalty and as such I am happy to give him the money as he has done so much for the club but noone else has earned it in my book.

I agree about the "legend" thing, I was talking to my dad the other week about it in that I cant see many getting a great reception in 10 years time when they come back. Rhodes will as despite a few off performances he is the top scorer (post war) for us and that says a lot but I reckon without him this season we would be mid table.

I feel sorry for Bennett as he has one bad game and gets dropped, whilst Smithies with his "potential" comes straight in and undroppable.

On Saturday I was of the mood that we could get rid of most of the team for what they are worth and I think its probably right. These players dont have the heart and its questionable how much ability they have. This summer we need to clean house and get in people who will give blood sweat and tears and I will 100% be behind them, even if we dont always win.

bound to happen tez.. they have come good at the right time and the way they play and fight they will be short favourites for the play offs..i dont think the blades will f-ck it up..
being honest i would prefer the mk dons to carlisle or notts county anyway.. carlisle just because of recent times and notts county because you know that "bald poor driver" will have a couple of his best days.. also most of carlisle will turn out as will notts county, whereas mk dons will be as part time as usual..

But atleast they are in a position to do so Tez!

A while back there was a debate how we would do this year and I wasnt convinced we would do as well as last year but some had suggested we would get 90+ points. Well now even if we win all of our last 4 games we would be on 86 points so 1 less then last year and on current form we wont win them all.

What I want is to see someone with fire in their belly take the game by the scruff of the neck. If we had done that on Saturday and got a goal back and kept the pressure on then Wednesday would have been scared and who knows what would have happened. As it was it looked like they didnt care and I hope they all have perms after a "hair dryer" treatment from Grayson!
