If the players continue to play like last night, we could quite easily bottle it.

But I imagine the players will bounce back against Villa, it's what they do best.

Win our 3 home games, and we should be alright.

They better hope it's mind games, otherwise Mancini

Exactly.5pts clear isnt the time to panic.Of course if city beat us at the council house and were 2pts clear going into the swansea game it will be a little bit squeaky bum but lets get there first and see.

I can't see City getting 9 points from us, Norwich away and Newcastle away, which is why I think 3 home wins for us is enough.

Yep.Just saying that to a mate on twitter.Of course the villa game is now THE big game to get back on course.

Of course Mancini is playing games. It's the most blatant childish piece of reverse psychology ever. If his players really buy that and start going right well we'll show him, then they really are dumb. It certainly wont make any difference at OT.

However I'd say odds wise a City win at the council house is most likely, and I can't see GD being a factor that favours us, especially if they beat us in that game.

Even if we both won all our games other than the council match then United would have to win at Sunderland, and while we'd be favourites that's not easy by any means.

Even before then Everton are a playing well, so that's tough. Swansea are losing a few and we'd expect to win but they aren't mugs.

I think City's only major challenge left outside the council game is Newcastle.

I can't see anything other than a final day scenario.

it's only nine days ago that we were all buzzing about being five points clear. we're still five points clear this morning and there's now two less games left to play. by the law of averages we had to drop points at least once and we have done. we'll move on and villa will feel the backlash on sunday.

You could see the twickle in Mancini's eye when asked again - "do you really think the title is over"?

Yep I agree. The main reason people are going so OTT about last night is most of them were going on about us having won the title already after the weekend which was so stupid, and shows they've never watched more than a season or two or football. Both teams were bound to drop points.

I've always thought it would go to the final day, and I dont think the Villa Norwich games are the ones that will affect anything. I'd expect both United and City to win those games.

i said on sunday night that we'd drop points at wigan. it isn't a logical arguement but football results do follow the law of averages and lord knows wigan were due some luck against us. they got it, but they played well enough to win the game anyway, so fair play to them. the result, if nothing else, will provide a wake up call to our own players.
