Yes he's more of an out and out striker than Rooney. SAF is doing his best to do an Alan Smith on Rooney! Welbeck is very decent but nothing in the finishing department compared to Berbatov which leaves Hernandez who whilst excellent has 12 goals in 34 appearances (scores every 2.8 games) this season compared to Berbatov who has 9 in a paltry 19 appearances mainly as a under used sub (scores every 2.1 games).

I take it you missed the season that Rooney played as main striker and he scored 35+ goals?
By the way - most United fans think that Valencia is our best winger, not Nani. And even then he has been injured recently, not dropped.

He actually comes across as a nice guy though Ronaldo, often seemed to have good banter with the rest of the squad and was usually smiling.
I think Ronaldo has always just been a winner, Hazard seems as though he'd cause trouble.

Sturridge is massively overrated.
I dont think he's overrated but he's greedy and he doesnt have consistency yet and doesnt pass all the time and his shooting is sometimes off key and he doesnt track back and his head drops when things arent going right for him and he pulls out of challenges and he is ego is getting bigger by the day.
But thats all to be honest......

His decision making is laughable, his finishing is hardly anything to shout about, doesn't make any off the ball runs and he tries too much stuff that he clearly cannot do.

Macca - They're both good. Welbeck hasnt the ego of Sturridge but I think he needs to improve in some areas of his game as does Sturridge. He needs to start by getting rid of that chip shop on his shoulder (TCP )
Welbeck is ten times better than Thierry Cristiano Sturridge.
Our little superstar would be happy if he scored 2 goals in a 8-2 defeat.
