It is funny that people are still ignoring you to a certain extent.
Keep hearing about how you stand no chance as you play City, Chelsea and Everton in last 3 games, as if you will lose all 3.
City will have nothing to play for when you face them, Chelsea may have a CL final to look forward to, and the FA Cup the same week as you face them I think? They may also be out of contention for 4th anyway.
And Everton? When have they been unbeatable?
Wouldn't rule Newcastle out of 3rd, we (Arsenal) need to make sure we take things into our own hands.
Pardew an Newcastle should get manager an team of the season if you ask me.
D'Jeezus I have said the exact same thing, chelsea will be too busy on the fa cup final, so they may play a weaker team to rest players, Mancity I hope they have lost the title, so they will have nothing to play for and uninterested, while everton we have had a good record there recently, wigan next week is massive
I agree. Newcastle have been a revelation. Congratulations.
I like Newcastle but I hate them at the same time
They must not catch us but they must finish above Spurs
think newcastle will finish 4th can see them losing to city but winning everton and get a draw at chelsea just enough
@Demba
Unfortunately Man U can't have the title wrapped up by the time City come to St. James, at best they can be 6 points clear with 6 to play for.
I doubt Chelsea will be fielding anything other than their strongest side against us as they're still chasing the 4th place spot as well, and we've got Wigan next who won't be a pushover as they're fighting for their lives and when the chips were down they took down Liverpool, Arsenal and Man Utd so they're not to be underestimated, and Everton still have a long shot at a Europa league place so they may have something to play for as well.
We've got ourselves a run-in where there's no way that we'll get any favours so getting 4th is still a hard task, especially as Spurs have an 'easier' run-in (though they have a couple of teams still fighting for their lives to come).
But frankly, we could lose all our remaining games and I'd still look at the table and still say this has been a fantastic and overwhelming season. We've stuck with the big four all this time, we've finished above the Mackems (always the top priority) and finished better than high-spending Liverpool.
Who'd have thought at the beginning, eh?
