Well same old problems, same old issues. Same wasters in the XI..it is not just a lack of striker holding this team back. The goal was good from Luiz, and taken well, besides that nowt bar Willian chance.

I thought getting the early goal would at least mean we control game from there on in which we did for a bit..then sloppy in possession fed into Newcastle growing into the game.

I’m starting to think Jorginho is good..but for our side to be great we need a great player in his role, I don’t think he’s great. He must have been great for Napoli though in their seasons where they got 90+ points, so maybe just needs time to fit in.

I won’t be sarri out yet but guy needs a serious rethink of this team. It’s Been 4/5 monthsnow. And still alonso, Willian and no striker. It’s the same weakness every week

I know its a crime as a Chelsea fan to say this, but Kante has never been the best DM in the world.

Also, his best position has always been in a midfield two.

Why on earth would we want to put a player whos best attributes is running, in a position where there is very little running required?

Rafa has got his tactics spot on. Giving our midfield and Hazard no time on the ball. Letting us have it in the wide positions. Having 2 players on each wing when they hoof it up front. So many times Azpi has been up against 2 players, if he doesn't win the header we're fecked.
