By the way, in case you are so cognitively challenged that you think "barely had a bad game" is the same as saying "he only has good games", let me state that I think Kovacic has lots of decent 6 or 7/10 games.

I am not claiming we should sign him, or that he is our best player, or that he is in brilliant form.

I do however think he is a talented, disciplined, technically proficient midfielder who has a good understanding with Kante in the middle, and Hazard on his left, and that he mostly puts in competent, serviceable performances for us. Which to me is a step up from Barkley and RLC who may have had better individual games than him but are considerably less consistent.

I also think he doesn't score enough goals, and is too passive in the offensive third in general.

Now you can say that position is somehow crazy to the point of being outside the window of rationality if you wish, but I think it is a perfectly defendable one.

And fits entirely with me saying "he has barely had a bad game".

You just reeled yourself in. Went from saying I had a reasonable comment. To it being mad to compare u to a flat earther, to me showing some sort of unproven aggression when I was more than happy to discuss kovacic, just not that he’d barely had a bad game cos he’s had a fair few. All our players have. He’s been very hit and miss this year.
