With Bats we'd have a 24 man squad which sounds about right. Also gives us the option of going two up top without using all of our available strikers.

Keep Zappa for now too with James injured

If Lampard plans on playing 2 up front then I’d keep Bats, if not we should sell.

I really hope we don’t have a bloated squad when the season starts or they’re gonna be a lot of unhappy players during the season.

Unlike last season where we were able to field 2 separate teams (due to EL) this season our first XI will be playing 2 games a week.

Doesn’t matter as long as the main players in the squad are happy. I don’t care if Drinkwater, Zappa etc are unhappy about game time

Blarmy if he thinks Zouma is better than Tomori, I highly doubt he'll keep Tomori anyway out of fairness.

i remain confident that Zouma is a very good defender, i think his ball playing skills are being under rated personally and over exaggerated

that being said rudiger and luiz are fantastic, Christiansen is also very good and tomori is another very good defender

one has to go and its likely to be zouma

i'd keep zouma as luiz last year was far from fantastic at times. Decent season overall in the end though. Rudiger though, so understated across the league. Probably edged into the top 5 cbs last year

Ampadu actually excites me as a prospect more than CHO or Mount, and I think he is a CB not a CM.

But he needs weekly games, makes sense to loan him.

We have 5 other CBs. One of Tomori or Zouma will leave imo.
