Feel more sympathetic to Portsmouth fans, what is this now there 2nd or 3rd time in administration? not good, club may end up being liquidated If their not careful.

Andy if Rangers are gone what's the point for Celtic? Rangers and Celtic would be lost without one another and Scottish football as a whole would lose its only real attraction, and and become even more boring and predictable than it already is...

And I in the 80's as well Gazza - and I'll never forget Liverpool fans gloating over it and being the but of their smarmy jokes!

Hence I've had a long running dislike of Liverpool!

Portsmouth

Some of my friends are Pompey fans My dads friend has been a season ticket holder there for over 10 years

Really hope they don't go into liquidation.

The club has an injury update on captain John Terry and Ashley Cole, who was injured at the weekend.
John Terry took part in today's training session for the first 30 minutes and then continued work in the gym. He'll be looking to increase his workload on a daily basis.
The defender has not featured since the 1-0 FA Cup fourth round win at Queens Park Rangers on January 28, having originally injured his knee in the third round against Portsmouth on January 8.
Ashley Cole was injured during our 2-0 defeat at Everton on Saturday, and was replaced by Ryan Bertrand. The 31-year-old left-back has bruising of the calf. We will monitor his condition over the coming days.

Andy how can you laugh at any team ending up in this situation however much you dislike them?

Because it is all self inflicted that is how.

Rangers fans were not complaining when they're side were winning titles by spending money they do not have. No sympathy. And there is no need for the hypothetical as both my teams are ran well enough not to be in this position.

I never actually said I'd take your advice Gazza!!

They've won three leagues on the bounce spending virtually nothing compared to Celtic

posted on 13/2/12

It's their own fault for spending so much trying to match Celtic's European Cup win. All that money club could be going bust and they didn't even do it quality.

Not true really is it. How much did they spend on Jelavic and Beattie last year? £6m for just those 2

Yep but they have spent money. Last year they spent more than us. Just a shame we gave Mowbray so much money
