Clinging on to that Grandslam record.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
its crazy that the top three grand slam total winners all played at the same time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, that is quite extraordinary
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We'll never see the likes of it again in our lifetime and I doubt our ancestors will either. 55 grand slams and counting between three players is insane. The total will end up well into the 60's I'd imagine.

Ben Arfa is alive. Wasted talent.

Gonna be a Djokovic vs Nadal final I'm guessing. They're just too good.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can never count out Fed completely, but yeah at nearly 40 he's a bit too old to be competing toe to toe with the other two now.

Is it safe to say 3 of the top 5 of all time are djok, fed and nadal? or even the top 3?

Andy murray if not for injuries would have probably cleaned up in other eras too.

Fed's already got too many miles on the clock this tournament, he won't have the energy to live with Djokovic in the semis.

Yeah the top 3 are outstanding. I thought the youngsters coming through would have won a grand slam by now but the 3 mentioned are relentless.

Murray all credit to him for winning slams in an era like this. I think his body is paying for it now, it clearly took a lot out of him.

Based on Grand Slam wins I think you'd probably have to say that they are the top three of all time.

Although it does get a bit complicated with Rod Laver not being able to compete in Grand Slam tournaments for five years. He won 11 Slams but it would have been considerably more than that. A lot of people would have Laver in their top three.

Yeah boy was Murray unlucky to have had to compete in this era. In any other era he'd probably be a 10 time Grand Slam winner.

In the last 10-15 years or my generation we have had arguably or most certainly the best players in the below sports:

Tennis
Football
Track and field or atleast sprinting
Middle/Long distance running
Snooker
Darts

In terms of all round game most definitely basketball,(lebron) but Jordan was better at the height of his game and getting the job done

Cmf, why do you refuse to play ball?
When people ask you questions you ignore.
When people respond to your links, you abuse.

You have now ignored repeated warnings.

Just act like a normal human. The links you post, some are quite good, why not have a discussion about them for once?

Nope, he won't be.
Injuries and being overplayed has taken its toll on him.
