And looking back the Hazard, Costa and Fabregas signings the club made between 2012-2014 were excellent. That trio provided the base on which we were able to replace the likes of Drogba and Lampard and also enabled us to win two titles in 2015 and 2017.

Just seems that since then we've had a massive drop off in terms of really high quality, lynchpin type players being brought in by the club and it's no coincidence that we've regressed from title winners in 15 and 17 to a team that definitely isn't competing for titles in the last couple of seasons since.

True - but we usually follow up an awful performance with a decent one. I'm hoping our mini upswing will cancel out our terrible record against them

They were missing agst Spurs and frankly on current form I would rather have Giroud than Tammy.
