Jose for one season either goes incredibly well,or incredibly bad. No inbetween
-------------------------------------------------------
Interesting. I think it's meh
His formula never changes. 1st season will be encouraging (for us atm that's like 6th), 2nd season we might squeak top 4 or sh!thouse a cup, 3rd season he'll crack & sabotage it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Didn't even manage that at Spurs tbh.

Jose is another coach like Poch who has been left behind by football.
Listening to the way Boehly and co speak I doubt they give a shet about trying to get fans back onside.
Should beg Tuchel to come back, but will likely go for another useless yes man.

We were on a down slide with Tuchel before the end, and some of his transfers set us back massively, but he was still miles better than Potter and Poch.
Only reason for not sacking Poch is if FFP means we can’t afford it
posted 1 week, 4 days ago
I agree the priority is (trying) to win the fans back now. Probably impossible but they've got to try.
Next guy has to be Tuchel, Ancelotti or Mourinho.

If its not Tuchel, and I highly doubt it would be him
then Amorim would be my preferred option but I am genuinely unsure we can afford to sack Poch and then spend 13m getting him out of his release clause.
I also accept its a bit of a punt. Only done it at Sporting ans could be another AVB. But I do think he has a big personality and a system that suits these players.
Still think he'd struggle like any manager though and unsure why he'd choose us.

As I said, I think it's collateral control at this point for the owners towards the fans. Going off recent reports that they will be dispassionate when it comes to reviewing Poch, I don't think that can happen now after this.
Guarantee if there's no changes then there will be protests, atmosphere will be constant boos and seats will be empty.
Very few candidates that automatically win the fans over.
Amorim/De Zerbi/Slot etc, they will peak some interest, but there will skepticism.
Carlo/Jose/Tuchel,only one's can instantly have a connection and bring a bit of feel good back

Tuchel probably will be offered Utd gig and I can only see him coming to us if we change our transfer strategy. That's an awful lot of pride swallowing.
Carlo is contracted to Real until 2026, why would he leave?
Mourinho, no idea if he'd want it but it'd be utterly lunacy imo.

Somehow they did even worse than Lampard last season

Let's be honest
No manager will want this job apart from maybe Jose
Maybe tuchel
It's a death sentence to slott amorin or de zerbi

From what I saw I do actually think the players tried. At least up until 3-0 (switched it off at that point) We were just massively ourmatched.
Last year they just jogged around the pitch

JT would be involved i’m sure of it

No surprise...
Mourinho & Tuchel are now joint favorites at 3/1 to take over BEFORE the season ends...Slightly less after the season ends..
Mou/Tuchel
De Zerbi - 4/1
Amorim - 5/1
Slot - 5/1
Flick - 7/1

Chelsea have lost more games against Arsenal in their last five meetings (4/5) than José Mourinho has in his entire managerial career (3/23).
How things have changed
posted 1 week, 4 days ago
How motivated Jose is has little to do with the fact the game passed him by about 10 years ago and he has failed to adapt to diminishing returns
