Also thinking Mayweather on points

i wanted to see this fight 4 years ago but better late than never
i'd favour mayweather on points but i'd give cotto a better chance than most appear to. floyd doesn't bring the relentless ferocity that was required for margarito and pacquiao to beat cotto, so there's enough of the unknown about this one to keep it interesting.
i think this could be floyds toughest test in years
Vik do you have the link to the 24/7 HBO epidsodes? Anything to do with FMJ is pure entertainment whether you like him or not.
I do agree with Electric that this could be a tough fight at Cotto's ideal weight and let's be honest Floyd is not getting any younger at 35.

I fancy an upset in this one, but it's hard to bet against Mayweather because he handpicks his opponents to his own benefit, and his defensive skills are out of thus world.
He'll probably be too quick and hard to hit for Cotto, but there's just a niggly feeling at the back of my mind somewhere saying this may be the night Mayweather loses that 0.
Also if Cotto wins I reckon there's more chance of a Pacquio Mayweather fight happening.
Each fighter's stock will have decreased and they'd each need that fight for their legacies. I reckon Mayweather would maybe think 'what the hell' seeing as his main aim just now is protecting that perfect record. If it goes then who knows?

Klitschkos as good as they are, the fights are pretty boring to watch.
Can you believe it that feather punch Pauli Malinaghi is a 2 weight world champion after taking the Welterwieght belt last weekend? If I was Amir or Kel, thats the next stop.
