You need someone to put the ball in the net - why not go for podolski

If we do get those 3, I would say that would be about £40m?? There is rumours of Kuyt going the other way as De Jong so that would bring it down a bit.
The question would be how much have we got to spend? Say £18m for Johnson and I think it would be a good deal, but we may need to look towards the cheaper signings of Hoillet, Sinclair etc.
Would also depend on who else leaves in the summer. My guess would be
Kuyt
Maxi
Aquilani
Cole
Aurelio
Spearing (wishfull thinking)
So maybe its not too far fetched, I think the squad is going to be quite a bit different next season.

I posted this a few weeks ago but I spoke to a friend of mine who works at Utd and apparently it's common knowledge within football circles that AJ is available. They're not desperate to get rid but if the right offer comes in and he wants to go then City will listen.
He does seem to be on the fringes of the team there, and surely they will buy again this summer.
He may be forced to move else where.
Don't like AJ's attitude. Lazy in training I heard.
