Where do you get your stats from:



Their international records (which is the point of discussion) are as follows:

Heskey = 62 Apps, 7 goals (11% ratio)
Crouch = 42 Apps, 22 goals (52% ratio)

So, as I said to ..Dubbed before, this is quite a big difference, so why would anyone go for Heskey over Crouch?

For the record, I didn’t suggest we should play Crouch, my point was just that Capello didn’t know what he was doing managing English players.



As for .. Dubbed, I never said I think Harry is better or worse than Capello. I just said that there is no proof that Capello would be better than any current manager in charge of a team in the EPL. Certainly not when we take into account what we know about Capello, and that was that he considered a midfield of Lampard, Gerrard.., Milner & Barry to be the best option available. And Heskey in the top 2 strikers, when we all know they’re not.

Also Dubbed, I never said England are a technically gifted side (another lie..), I simply said (please re-read) that anyone who considered Upson & Heskey to be the best England have got in their respective positions, has no idea how to manage an England national team. Bobby Robson would be turning in his grave at the thought.

I didnt suggest Capello should have played Crouch over Heskey. I just sugested that anyone who considers Heskey good enough to play for his country, clearly doesnt have knowledge of that country's talent. Hence Heskey cant even get offered a contract at Villa.

For the record, a 52% goal ratio at any level, let-alone at international level is quite phenomenal. Anyone who says any different is either a , is Mafia or is ..Dubbed.

As for class players we didnt use. It wasn't so much the class of player that was missing, it was the balance (or lack of) he didnt seem to grasp.

No-one with an ounce of footballing knowledge would play 4 central midfielders across the England midfield, especially as it has been widely know for years & years ..that 2 of them have never been able to play with eachother.

Who in their right mind would have taken Heskey over Bent, who (if we use YOUR point re stats) scored 24 goals in the season 2009-2010, where Heskey only scored 24 from 2006 - 2012.

Ps. Over the same period, Crouch scored over 50.

And you listen to Dubbed about Heskey being the right choice .

I'm not claiming England to be world beaters, but using Upson, Heskey, Gerrard & Lampard in the same team is never going to work. Anyone can see that.
