WHO WILL BE TOP TEAMS NEXT YEAR

I think the biggest challenge will be the those coming up and some of the exisiting league - not so much those coming down this year. Swindon and Crawley I think will do well - Carlisle, Notts C, Brentford, Blades - not sure about Stevenage, depends on how they are able to keep the squad together or replace those that leave - but I feel like that about us at the moment - no team signings yet, no news on current loanees, no news on Gleeson........ so too early to tell - but those around us are cracking on - which does worry me

I think the top clubs next season will be: Sheffield United, Coventry, Carlisle, Stevenage, Swindon, Crawley and Portsmouth (if they can sort their organisation out).

MK Dons will only join them if:

1) They get a central striker (or Wrighty trains one up)
2) They develop a Plan B, for the clubs who work out how to stop the Dons playing
3) They don't get too many Loan Players that distrupt the team by being pulled back by their owning club if they perform well

Looks like Shefield Utd are feeling the pinch, talking about cutting wage bills and so on.

I think the league is wide open next season and I wouldn't like to say who might challenge.

As well as a right back and a centre half, we need a bit more pace up front, a young Izale would be ideal.

Bournemouth, MK Dons, Notts County, Swindon, Crawley, Doncaster, Preston and Sheffield United will be the top sides!

I dont think Crawley will do well, they sold their top 2 strikers and didnt do well at the end of the season, their gates are very poor.
Will be interesting to see how the new financial restraints affect teams.

Looks like we are looking at players (Danny Swanson) so this could be a good omen that Robinson is getting some financial backing from Wincleman.

IT'S SUMMER!!! FORGET ABOUT WENDYBALL

Maybe he (Swanson) is seen as a replacement for Gleeson - assuming Glee is not going to stay - otherwise not sure it is a priority position. I also see formal talks have started with Alan Smith - would be great if something can come of that - just depends on his belief in his earining potential and if he sees being at the Dons as a swansong to helping take a club up a division (or two)........

Gleeson signs for 2 years. Good sign all is going well behind the scenes at the dons. I'm feeling quite positive now.

TBH I just think Crawley will do well because they have been attracting possible Championship ype players in Alexander and Paul Jones so the ambition is there

They could be one to watch, while Stevenage are losing players to Preston
