Yes I think the punters are about right. I would give Delpo more chance than Fed actually (on form seen thus far) but I also agree with you that Djoko should be closer to Nadal. If anything the way Djoko finished that 5 setter v Seppi shows he can last 5 sets.
Nadal is steamrolling through everyone and both Federer and Djokovic have struggled a little. So the odds likely reflect that.
I am of two minds on Djokovic vs Nadal. On one hand, I still think that if Novak plays his best he has at least 50/50 chance against Nadal. On the other hand, I am finding it harder and harder to convince myself that Novak will be able to produce his best should they meet in the final.
What are the latest odds as per jersey?
Djoko still has more than fifty percent chance of winning if he meetsnadull in the finals. Unlike stupid monaco he knows that nadull needs to be played on his backhand side. Monaco was a disgrace.
Nadal will not lose a set. I hope it is djokovic that he meets as he is the only one to maybe challenge but very unlikely.
If its roger then I can't see anything other then a 6-1 6-3 6-0 victory for rafa
exact same score? wow i will take that bet.
When one sees players like Stosur, Murray, Nadal doing so well, you know the conditions favours the physical players.
Errani even.....anothe moonballer.
My last 2 posts were for the MOTD thread!
The proof that Fed is injured coudl not be clearer in that drop shot volley from Delpo. Fed stop after thinking he woudl "probably" not get it. Usually, he runs regardless.
Another mistake...sorry. for MOTD
Murray is very much in there for his maiden title. If Murray wins than it will be a coup. Coup de misketiere
Murray's been hovering around 2-3%.
Latest odds - market is more confident on Nadal now:
Nadal 72%
Djokovic 17%
Federer 7%
Ferrer 4%
bookies rarely get it wrong but sometimes they do.
I wasn't impressed by Nadal today. Almagro played well and wasn't bothered my Rafa's shots despite having a SHBH. I felt that Djoko could have done lots of damage versus this Nadal.
We should find out more about Nadal's form on Friday. I do not think Ferrer has a chance to beat him but he will test him enough to show where Nadal is really at. None of the players Nadal had to play so far had any chance to really test him. He did get some pretty impressive scores, but he is always sort of capable of similar performances against these types of players. Too bad Andy lost today. I thought he could have provided Rafa with a really stern test.
HB, enjoy your trip. Report from the grounds if at all you can
