Pep will be here for the start of the 2013 season.
Don will confirm this. <ITK> .

Vey sensible article

as a Liverpool fan i said the same.....lets see who we appoint for deciding if it looks like a step forward or backwards

By the time we get a new manager probably all the best available players will have been taken up.

I dont want AVB

Levy isn't stupid....he let Harry hang himself

The man talked himself out of the Spurs job

He did OK but carried on like he was the messiah and Spurs had never had it so good. What nonsense. David Pleat was more successful as was El Tel!

A ridiculous 8 game blip under Ramos aside the squad was one with successive 5th place finishes under Jol when Harry arrived. Without lasagne gate Jol would have taken them to the CL places.

Harry came in and spent a huge amount of money and took the team from 5th to 4th. He then tried to convince all he'd achieved miracles

Perhaps he'd seen what Wenger has managed to achieve in hoodwinking everyone at the Emirates that he's surviving on a shoe string and doing a great job so Harry thought he could do the same and keep talking himself up

Weare - why no to AVB?

I doub't that, but the Euro's mean Spurs have a bit of time as most agents/players and clubs will be waiting for that to finish before any moves occur.

I know Moyes is favourite but I think he's too loyal to leave Everton. Got a hunch that it will be between Capello, Martinez and AVB.

I suppose at least with AVB we'd likely bring in some quality foreign talent.

Ally McCoist is soon to be available. And think of all the quality he could bring down from Scotland with him

Hypothetically speaking, if that happened, I wouldn't notice as I'd be too busy having a snowball fight with satan himself in the pits of hell.

Mick McCarthy and Ian Dowie as well

I'll make you the snowballs in advance (that Satan is a sneaky dude when it comes to snowball fights) .

Anyone think Slaven Bilic would be a good shout for next manager? He's done a great job with Croatia and maybe help in keeping Modric (along with the length of contract left)

posted on 14/6/12

Bilic has already agreed another job after the Euros.

Thanks Pav That!, didn't realise. Bookies still have him at 16/1 but then again Hughton is only 20/1. I'll put my fiver away!

I personally wouldn't favour it. I want someone with PL experience. People like Bilic and Klinsman are too risky for where we currently are. If we were further down the table maybe.

Obers. Great to see you've isolated a small chunk of text and removed any semblence of context. Gold star for you.

Martin O'Neill has always been a Spurs fan apparently (as well as Celtic and Sunderland, he's the Robbie Keane of managers) so watch this space...

If we want better than Redknapp then I'd avoid MON, but if we want to work at a similar level I think he'd be a good choice.

If you want to work at a similar level, why would you sack him in the first place?
