Did the 5th official, say it was a goal? NO, hence it wasn't a goal

Did the ref blow the whistle for a goal? No, hence it wasnt a goal therefor it was a great clearance.

JAG by your logic:

did the officials give a goal? NO, hence what does it matter if the ball crossed the line it wasnt a goal.

and the reason they didn't give it was John Terry not giving it up. fool.

you just wanna moan thats the problem. Im not even from England but i think England deserved that bit of luck. Chiellini is out of the quarters with England, thats a massive blow for Italy

Did the ref raise his flag for a goal? NO! So the flag is equally irrelevant for the offside. The whole move should have resulted in a free kick to England in ukraine's half. Justice was done. I still don't think the whole ball crossed the line, but that is, as I said, irrelevant as it should be an England free kick.

Did the 5 official or whatever they're called raise his silly stick? NO, hence it wasn't a goal

Why ignore the first officiating error to allow you to moan about the second one? makes no sense, unless of course you're just looking to have a pop at england.
